Apr 2 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

ADULT & INTER-GENERATIONAL FIRST-DAY SCHOOL:
Adult and inter-generational first-day school programs are held following the rise of Meeting for Worship and refreshments.

CHILD CARE & CHILDREN’S FIRST-DAY SCHOOL:
Childcare is provided every Sunday starting at 10 a.m.; Children’s first-day school activities are held during the second half of Meeting for Worship from 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. (during child care).
Children are always welcome in Meeting for Worship. Some children/young people attend Meeting for Worship and then come to children’s first-day school/childcare around 10:20 – 10:30 a.m. During children’s first-day school, we spread our special blanket on the floor and begin and end worshiping together there. We read a book and sing together about one of the testimonies. From 11 a.m. -11:15 a.m. we might have a craft in the childcare room. (There is no formal first-day school scheduled the last Sunday of each month, but childcare is still provided.)

EXTENDED HOSPITALITY is often provided at the close of Meeting for Worship (11 a.m.) to allow new and old attendees a chance to socialize over coffee, tea and a light snack. Feel free to bring any food or snacks to share with others. There is no hospitality on the second Sunday of the month to accommodate for “business meeting” (MFWFB).

“BUSINESS MEETING” or MEETING FOR WORSHIP FOR BUSINESS (MFWFB) is usually held on the SECOND Sunday of the month (Sept. through June) immediately following the close of Meeting for Worship (11:00 a.m.). These monthly business meetings are a chance for all members or attendees to catch up on important business and financial issues regarding the meeting, as well as hear about various committee activities. This regular schedule is subject to change.

COVERED DISH, the monthly potluck brunch is usually held on the THIRD Sunday of the month (Sept. through June) at the close of Meeting for Worship (11:00 a.m.). Covered Dish will be later on days with adult or inter-generational first-day school or special events.

Scouts 10 Commandment Hike @ Haddonfield Friends Meeting House
Apr 8 @ 1:25 pm – 1:50 pm

The Hike is open to all Scouts (Cub, Boy, Girl, etc.), Leaders, Adults, Church Youth Groups, and Friends.  Please remember to pack your own Lunch. Please bring water (we will provide you with an extra bottle of water), and wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes.

What is a Ten Commandments Hike?  It’s a unique and exciting way to embrace the concept of Religious tolerance, learn local history, participate in community service, and have fun. It allows all participants to visit (hike) different Houses of Worship, each with a representative of the Faith explaining one of the Ten Commandments.  This year we will be visiting the Houses of Worship in Haddonfield, N.J. It is the perfect opportunity to complement your Pack or Troop’s commitment, “To Serve God” & “Duty to God”. Take part in a community service project by bringing canned goods to donate to the Haddonfield Food Pantry.
