Library Committee:

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Purchasing new materials for the Meeting library, including maintaining subscriptions to some publications (Pendle Hill pamphlets).
  • Maintaining the current collection.
  • Maintaining the Library room, in terms of organizing and re-shelving materials, and basic dusting, cleaning, and straightening.  This is done on an informal basis by Committee members as needed.
  • Determining the interests of the Meeting membership, in terms of appealing to members’ interest in determining what will be purchased for the collection.
  • Sponsoring a used book sale every other year (if possible) to raise funds for use in purchasing materials for the Library.
